A colourful pre-wedding day at Villa Monastero Pax, Lake Como

Villa Monastero Pax is a historic villa in Lenno, on the western shore of Lake Como. It is a different venue from Villa Monastero in Varenna, on the eastern shore.

An Italian welcome on Lake Como

The wedding weekend opened here with a pre-wedding day in Italian style. ILES EVENTS created a true Italian experience for guests who had travelled to Lake Como from all over the world.

Arrival by boat

Guests arrived at Villa Monastero Pax by boat, and musicians were there to welcome them. The programme was light: Italian appetisers and drinks in the garden, live music and games for the children. Florals by Riccardo Ciceri filled the tables with flowers, fruit and colour.

A hot summer day on Lake Como

It was one of the hottest days of the wedding season, and it was hard for anyone to take even a tiny step. I am grateful to the couple for still stepping in for a few quick photos.
