Are you looking for the professional photographer for your trip to Neuschwanstein Castle?
Neuschwanstein is stunning, but it can also be busy, bright, windy, rainy and a bit uphill. My job is to make it simple. We’ll meet in Füssen or Hohenschwangau, choose the best route for your time and energy, and create a small set of locations that give you variety: classic castle views, mountain atmosphere and a quieter moment or two when possible.

Best photo spots and route options around the castle
A photosession can help your family and friends remember this trip to one of the most beautiful castles in the world. The main goals of our photosession are comfort, enjoyment and smiles. I want to capture the best moments in each picture you receive.
1. The iconic viewpoint (Marienbrücke / Mary’s Bridge)
This is the famous “postcard view”. It’s also one of the busiest spots, so timing matters. In winter, the bridge can be temporarily closed due to ice, snow and safety conditions, so we always keep a backup plan.
2. Classic castle exteriors
We focus on exterior viewpoints and paths that give you strong angles without needing long waits. This is the most reliable option in peak season.
3. Hohenschwangau village atmosphere
Great for warmer, more human moments before or after the castle views. It also helps if you want photos that look like a real trip, not only a landmark shot.

What should I wear?
Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel good and warm. In winter, bring warm gloves and a well-fitting coat that you like in photos. Also, please do not forget about comfortable shoes. :)

Absolutely! I love helping visitors and will suggest locations with the best views of the castle and surroundings.
What if the weather is bad (rain or heavy snow)?
The weather in Bavaria can sometimes be a bit unpredictable, but we will have a plan. Light snow can make pictures look more charming. In case of rain, we can bring umbrellas that look cute in pictures. We can also move to indoor places. Your comfort comes first.
Is Marienbrücke always open?
In winter it can be closed in bad weather due to ice and snow, so we always plan a backup viewpoint.
What is the best way to get there without a car?
Take the train to Füssen, then bus to the stop “Hohenschwangau Neuschwanstein Castles, Schwangau”.
What is the best time of day for photos?
Neuschwanstein is one of the most visited places in Germany. Morning gives the calmest backgrounds and the best angles. Late afternoon looks beautiful too, but it’s usually much busier.
How long should we plan for the whole experience?
For photos only, we need to plan at least 2 hours. The road to the castle takes at about 40 minutes (uphill from the Ticket Center area).
Can we take photos inside Neuschwanstein Castle?
No, photography and filming for private purposes are not permitted inside the castle, so we plan your session around exteriors and public viewpoints.
How will we receive our photos?
You will receive the photos in a private online gallery.
